PLC FAT and SAT checklist: test behavior and handover evidence
Plan factory and site acceptance around requirements, observable results, failure states, approved changes and recoverable project files.
An agreed test of installed equipment and interfaces under the site’s approved conditions.
SAT checks must be tied to project requirements and executed through controlled site procedures. Factory simulation is useful prior evidence but does not replace installed loop and interface checks. Keep safety validation distinct from a general control-system checklist. The acceptance worksheet records failures, retests and remaining gaps.

Map raw counts into engineering units, check the configured channel range, and keep signal-quality diagnostics separate from the displayed value.
Inventory the files and dependencies needed to recover a control system, set recovery objectives, and test restoration on an isolated target.
