Shopfloor exists to make useful industrial information easy to discover, scan, search, cite, crawl, aggregate, and revisit. It covers industrial automation, manufacturing, and the protocols, platforms, and hardware that run the plant floor: PLCs, SCADA, MES, DCS, IIoT, OPC UA, MQTT, Sparkplug B, Modbus, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, TSN, robotics, machine vision, OT cybersecurity, edge computing, industrial AI, digital twins, CNC, additive manufacturing, and the vendors behind them.
