PLC FAT and SAT checklist: test behavior and handover evidence
Plan factory and site acceptance around requirements, observable results, failure states, approved changes and recoverable project files.
An agreed pre-delivery test of equipment or application behavior against specified requirements.
A FAT can use simulated I/O and test systems to establish behavior before installation. It does not prove installed field wiring or site conditions. Record preconditions, approved triggers, expected and actual results, exact revisions and evidence. Use the FAT/SAT guide and worksheet.
