High-speed fieldbus with on-the-fly processing for motion.
An Ethernet fieldbus where one frame traverses every node, each reading and writing on the fly, with distributed clocks for synchronization. Sub-millisecond cycles for motion control, using dedicated slave chips and typically a PC-based master.
